RTH Research Group LLC, a minority owned behavioral health research and consulting firm, is currently seeking a part-time,

blue-peoplecontract-based,research associate with strong expertise on quantitative research methods. The candidate will work with other researchers developing and estimating models for HIV risk behaviors, substance abuse risk factors, and access/use of mental health services. RTH researchers are nationally recognized for their behavioral health research expertise on racial, ethnic and sexual minorities. The candidate will work with other researchers on current federal grants from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and will help prepare and submit grants to the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The ideal candidate must be a Ph.D. candidate and/or have at least a Masters degree in quantitative methods in Psychology, Sociology, Economics, or Public Health. The ideal candidate must have excellent skills on SPSS regression analyses, Structural Equation Modeling, Power Analysis, and Survey methodology. Depending on availability, it is estimated that the candidate will work 15 to 20 hours a week on a contract basis. Strong cultural competence is required.
